I’m a senior undergraduate in Indian Institute of Technology Delhi with Major in Engineering Physics and Minor in Robotics. I am interested in the field of Computer Vision, Deep Learning and Autonomous Robotics. I am a quick and dedicated learner, willing to provide complete commitment for the project I am associated with.
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
COMPUTER VISION RESEARCHER
August 2017 - Present
Manipulation Task from Visual Demonstration using KUKA KR5 :
Implemented Keyframe selection to select optimal frames from input video of human demonstration, to teach tasks to robot
Used Single Shot MultiBox Detector for object detection on NVIDIA 1050 GPU system
Calculated position and orientation of the detected objects using Point Cloud Data obtained from Laser Scanner using PCL

COMPUTER VISION RESEARCHER
July 2017 - Present
Worked on lane detection, object detection and tracking, free space detection and ego vehicle stop detection
Designed an Adaptive Cruise Control model using fuzzy logic which makes the vehicle go in its set cruise control speed unless any obstacle comes in its path suddenly.
Selected among top 13 teams in the final round of Mahindra Rise Driverless Challenge out of 600+ that applied for the same.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
October 2016Â - March 2017
Robomuse 3.0 : Semi-Autonomous Patrolling Surveillance Robot
Built PCBs for sensor based object detection and for integrating Arduino MegaADK, Sabertooth, Encoders and Raspberry pi2 as a single module.
Worked on face recognition, interaction with human and improved efficiency of battery usage by the entire system.
Received Seed Grant of 6000 USD from IITD for project development.
PROJECTS
COMPUTER VISION COURSE PROJECT
July 2017 - November 2017
• Implemented HyperLapse (from scratch) to get the optimum frame while video fast forwarding at any rate.
• Worked on Affine Rectification, Metric Rectification of projective image.
• Programmed Lucas-Kanade algorithm for point tracking and Video Stabilization without using any library in opencv.
• Implemented Background Subtraction using Expectation Maximization from scratch.
AXLR8R FORMULA RACING
July 2017 - November 2017
• Built a Two Wheel Driven Maze Solving Mobile Robot with obstacle avoidance using line sensor, arduino camera, ultrasonic sensors, arduino Mega ADK.
​​• Made analysis, compiled data of all types of motors, sensors used in electric car and chose motors as per our team requirements.
• Learnt IMD, BSPD circuits under the mentorship of our chief engineers in our team for our Electric Car XLR16-E which participated in Formula Student Germany (FSG 2016)
FOOD CONSUMPTION PREDICTION MODEL

• Read about various prediction models and chose methods which fit best to our problem.
• Implemented Long Short-Term Memory architecture and Kalman filter to predict the amount of food needed to be cooked for the next day for students in our hostel.
• Collecting food data from our hostel and validating our prediction model.
